This is just something I made today. I was trying to keep myself busy...and this is the what came out of it. And, actually I was remember a lot of times we spent together, and I was sad, yes, but I also became more...thankful. I am thankful that I got to spent that time with her, even though it wasn't much. It was wonderful. She was wonderful. She always made me smile...and even though I now know way more about Adam Austin than I EVER needed to know...I loved hearing her rant about her boy problems. I would give anything to hear her voice again.

Just want to say I'm verrrry excited to see that Maggy is back from California. I missed her like CRAZY. :)
So we go back to school soon. Which sucks. Holidays were kinda depressing. At this Christmas Eve service I saw Alicia's parents and I couldn't stop thinking of Alison/Alicia through the whole service, and how it really sucks that they arent here. I cant even begin to decribe this feeling in my stomach...its just uncomprehendable. Its like...she was so ALIVE, she CANT be dead. I remember all those phone calls, the main topic usually being Adam:). I remember i told her how this girl was being stupid and she told me not to worry, she'd be sure to beat them up when school started. I just feel like she was so young and had so much left to experience...it could have turned out to be a great friendship. Then again, it could have turned out that after this summer and after school started we would never see each other again. But I guess we could never know now. At least she doesnt have to feel pain anymore. and I hope I'll see her again someday...
All these thoughts made me realize how ungrateful I am. I mean, I'm still here and I still have that opportunity to do what I want with my life. I take so much for granted, like being able to watch all my VH1 specials...being able to perform, film, and just laugh with my friends. I guess life does have pain, but if I just focused on that, I would probably never be able to get up in the morning. So, I know this whole entry has a cheesefactor of basically 2034934802398402398029483098 but whatever. Its my journal.

today was quite eventful...kinda.
this morning my dad woke me up.
then i fell asleep
then my dad woke me up, and i had some frosted flakes.
then i went with my dad to go pick up maggie, maggie lives on FRIENDSHIP RD.
maggie is quite a cool person.
after all that fun stuff, we arrived at the carolina theatre
there were about 2039438 kids in the audience, which was exciting.
except this one girl who sings incredibly off key kept singing REALLY loud, so..ehhh. oh well
then emily, maggie, and i drove all around durham trying to find a parking spot, we finally just parked in the whole foods parking lot, then walked to cosmic cantina.
i bought a lot of guacamole, and a spicy burrito.
emily then brought maggie and i to maggies house, and we ate chocolate while talking about make-shift toilet paper underwear.
(dont ask)
then maggie had to go to her work, and i stayed here seacrching for about an HOUR for a new layout for this journal, and i couldnt find one. not one. so i guess ill just go home and make on myself. oh well.
anyways, now im about to go with jason (maggies older brother) to go pick up maggie.
then im going to this dance concert at carolina friends school, which should be fun.

okay, so i've been incredibly busy lately.
thursday:
maggies dad woke us up at like 7:30. but we refused to move until 8:15.
we had granola bars for breakfast, and we headed toward the theatre. we "bonded" in the car. by bonding i mean we took random pictures of ourselves, because we are cool like that.
the show was alright, but a little stressful. sometimes i feel like shooting the little children, but i hold myself back. actually maggie does....
anyways, after the show, maggie, kate, emily, caitlin, sadie and i decided to go to cosmic cantina(or however you spell it). it was quite delicious. except i discovered i am the messiest burrito eater alive.
after that kate and i went to carolina friends school with maggie, emily, and caitlin (who are actually students there). im very jealous. that place is like a SUMMER camp. and maggie lied when she said there were no attractive boys at her school.
maggie had yearbook for her 7th period, so kate and i went with caitlin and emily to their class which was "independent musical theatre studies". let me explain, at cfs you can get 5 people together, write up a little essay on what you would accomplish, and what kind of credit you want for the class, and then you have a class. on whatever you want. as long as it is a little educational. :LDFJKL:SDJ:SLDFJLSDJFLSKDJ. (<-- me being jealous of the rich private schoolers).
after school was over, maggie had to go to her work and the afterschool, so kate and i stayed with caitlin and emily at their dance rehearsal. those kids are talented. this one kid could break dance. i fell in love with him, but then i decided that i didnt want to.
the dance teacher asked me and kate to be in charge of the sound system thing. i think we failed. oh well.
so after all that fun bonding time with kate, maggie and i got into her car, and followed emily and caitlin to whole foods where we ate "healthy" cookies for dinner. then we went to the theatre for the evening show
after the show, (which by the way, went well) maggie came back to my house to spend the night.
we found out that its not a good idea to eat cake while watching ER. but shane west is so darn irresistable...
anyways, we eventually went to bed.
friday:
friday morning, maggie and i woke up, had some cereal, then headed to the theatre for yet another show.
after the show, kate, sadie, caitlin, maggie and i went to i <3 NY pizza for lunch. it was good. except sadie and maggie got cheese calzones which i didnt find very good. but i ate them anyways.
after that i went back to caroline friends school again with maggie, this time kate didnt come though.
i went to her mythology class and math class.
the math teacher asked me how to draw a circle. then he informed everyone i was a visitor.
then some kid was like "no, shes come to our school like, all week, she basically goes here now."
but maggie told him he was wrong. because i had only gone there for two days. which isnt a week.
i then helped maggie with her job at afterschool which was pretty uneventful, we played Sorry once, but we didnnt finish it.
back at maggies house, her dad had made keesh. neither of us like keesh so we told him we werent hungry and we would just have a granola bar.
it turned out we had about 5 gronola bars with lots of peanut butter. it was still better than keesh though.
then we went to the show, eric offered me "steroids" and i came back home. it was weird to come home alone, but kind of nice.
saturday:
ugh. saturday sucked.
basically i slept until about 11:30
then i woke up because i had to go to movie makers,
and i ended up being an hour late to that because i had the wrong directions. my mom got very mad at me. and i was ;asdfjskldjf incredibly stressed.
after spending a few hours running up and down hillsboro, filming in fairy wings, and having some strange man take pictures of us from accross the street, my mom picked me up and took me to subway. i was starving, so that made me happy.
I LOVE SUBWAY.
after that, i got to the theatre. maggies drama teacher was at the show, and she laughed a lot. that also made me happy.
then everyone made a plan to go sleep over at scotts house but my mom wanted to "punish" me for being an hour late to movie makers, so i didnt get to go. which sucked. but oh well. i went home, and watched this 48 hour mystery thing which creeped me out, then i watched VH1 for a while, and went to sleep.
sunday:
i slept late, then i headed to the theatre, my call time was at 1, but my sister wanted to have "bonding time" or somthing and she took me out to eat. i was really tired so we didnt really talk...oh well.
after the show, maggie came with me tto get some new jeans. we both got depressed as we didnt fit into the jeans that USED to be our size. then we decided they were just making sizes smaller, and we got happy again.
i dropped her off at her house, and now im home.

today was crazy. so right after school i had math tutoring. because at the moment i am failing math, and if i fail math i can't do my shows anymore which would suck. anyways after finishing that i went home, slept, then ate dinner and headed to north carolina theatre for rehearsal.
cahty (the director/producer/etc...) decided to put maggie and i in charge of putting props on stage...because apparently the way the play is written two whos come on stage at random times bouncing along with props. it is quite stressful. i think maggie was about to have a heart attack. heh.
so we got done with rehearsal around 10:30ish, but caitlin's mom wasnt at the theatre to pick up caitlin yet, so maggie and i waited with her until her mom came. caitlin tried to POISON me with this "throat coat". uasdkflauj. i almost died.
now i am sitting at maggies computer typing this while she is taking a shower. i think i hear her coming down, so i am going to end this entry now. night.

im updating for the first time in about...forever. not much to say about the past months...my life is pretty boring.
but today was my birthday. it was quite exciting. :)
right after school my mom drove me to the mall to hang out with scott and caitlin (maggie was SUPPOSED to come but she had to work. laskfjs) anyways it was quite fun/entertaining hanging out with scott and caitlin. after wandering around the mall looking for random things we ate dinner at champps.
Waitress:How would you like your meat cooked?
Scott:*looks really really confused* um...uhh...yes? oh. um. you pick.
Waitress:Uhh..okay, how about medium?
Scott:Sure *waitress leaves* Man. This place is different from McDonalds.
after that wonderful dinner, we piled into my moms minivan and headed to durham for rehearsal. caitlin burned me a CD of her songs, she is AWESOME. asl;dkfjas. i felt so untalented compared to her, hah. when i got to NCKT for rehearsal maggie y kelly had two beautiful cards waiting for me as well as a stack of oatmeal cookies. i was thrilled. i love my friends. :) of course, now its like...midnight. so i better get to bed. incredibly tired. night.

Today was the first day of school. Wasnt great. I MISS MY EIGTH...i mean NINTH GRADERS! :( oh well. next year...anyways. Today was pretty boring. Basically just sat around listening to rules etc...Mrs. Earman (language arts teacher) had us write fifty words or phrases that popped into our head. Mine mostly went along the lines of "kool-aid" "water" "coke" and "sierra mist" I was very thirsty. Lunch was alright...then I went to the phsycologist. Sat in akward silence for a while, then left there. I got a Fanta from the coffee shop on the first floor of the hospital. It tasted really good. It was GRAPE. I got home. I talked to Jordan on the phone a bit, then for dinner Emily interrupted EVERYTHING I was trying to say. Geez. What a horrible sister. Anyways, I'm gonna go do somthing. I feel like running. Everyone else is. I definetly have to do XCountry next year. :) Join the bandwagon, woot. I'll update more later. When stuff actually HAPPENS. -bethany

Okay, so today I went and got my headshots done around two. Headshots are what "actors" use to get proffesional jobs so when you want to audition they can remember what you look like. Or somtimes your agent just sends in a headshot first and if you have "the look" they are looking for then they invite you to audition. Anyways, I had to wear a bunch of weird shirts that the photographer picked out for me and she put about 37436438463857263485763 pounds of make-up on me. My skin looked flawless....it was CRAZY. And my eyes were really...shiney. Anyways, me and my mom got home around 5:30 or so. And I talked online with Helen and we arranged for her to come with me to Youth tonight. We picked her up, and went to youth. It was weird because I feel like ever since the accident, I made an excuse not to go...because I had never been there really without Alison. I finally got the courage to go tonight...I saw her little brother, Luke, and I just still dont feel like its really sunk in unless I think hard about it. Because, I mean, she wasnt buried, so I never really saw her dead. So, it doesnt seem real, just like shes on "vacaction" or somthing like that...Well on to other things. Youth was pretty cool a girl named Leigh Anne was there, she was really fun. I liked her. :) ALLI MALONEY WAS THERE :):) that made me happy. I also saw Tim and Alex, which was also cool. So, after Youth I took Helen back home. Hehe, on the way I was singing along to the "Wicked" soundtrack, (yes Helen, you KNOW you loved it!) Well now I better go to bed...school tomorrow. UGH TIMES A MILLION. I dont want to go. Oh well. Later -bethany

Okay, so last night I didnt really go to bed until three thinking I would be able to sleep late this morning. No such luck. My sister comes in my room around 10 and is all "Time to go school shopping" in this really happy hyper voice that was kinda irritating that early. So she drags me out of bed. And has me get dressed..then puts me in the car. Somehow we end up at the Austin house. Apparently Adam and Brians mom is taking all of us. So we get in the car, and I just kinda sit there half asleep until we get there and Adam like punches his mother (accident...supposedly) while stretching. That woke me up a little bit. THen we go in and Emily basically told me what to get, I would bring what I picked out, she would disaprove then go and pick somthing out for me. It was great. I hung out with Adam mostly because Emily and Brian were...well how Emily and Brian tend to be. I got some "squishies" of bookbags which made me happy. We went to lunch at "Moes" where Emily insisted I get a burrito instead of nachos. So I just got both and ignored the burrito and ate my nachos. :) Adam was supposed to get nachos...ended up kinda turning out to be a salad. He is a confused little man. Anyways, then we went back to the Austin house. Adam and his mom left, and Emily hung out with Brian. I hung out with Adams computer. Then Emily drove me to Southpoint so she could get a camera, I just read a book about "back up dancers" Then I got home and a friend had me call her and apparently I am horrible and caused a lot of uneeded drama. Wow. School hasnt even started yet and it already looks bad. Anyways, Em needs the computer for yearbook or somthing, so I have to go. later. -bethany

Today I went to Emerald Point con Julia y Brennan. It definetly rocked. There was a "new attraction" called The Edge. That was pretty cool, but the lines were very long and the rides were really short. So we spent a LOT of time in the wave pool. At one point there where these very attractive young men (okay..so they were like 13ish/14ish..) began talking to us as we were both in the "Whirlpool" area. But then we kinda got seperated when the wave came by....*sad*. So anyways towards the end we decided we wanted to ride the "Skycoaster" but we had to convince my dad. He eventually let us, and it was SO MUCH FUN. I think the most people who could go at a time was three, so that worked out nicely. You are attatched into this body suit, then they pull you 115 ft in the air. On the way up Julia and Brennan were like "Holy shit. NO. Bethany I dont know if you should pull the cord when we get up there.." and in my case I was really nervous, and so I was kinda just quiet. When we got up there it was CRAZY you could see the whole water park and way beyond. You could see the highways and stuff it was really amazing. Then the guys workin there were like "3,2,1 FLY" so, I pulled the cord. We went FLYING it was SO MUCH FUN. Plus we had to link arms, so it made it more stable. *bondingness* They said you would go between 50 and 80 mph. Hehe. I'm so hardcore. IN A KINDA IM REALLY NOT WAY. Well on the drive home we listened to the Wicked soundtrack. Definetly the awesomest CD ever. Anyways, I'm gonna go do somthing. I'll update more later. :-) -bethany

Hey look I'm updating. I know, its weird. Okay, so basically this summer I worked and there was really nothing to update about. So I'll just tell about the last couple of days... Monday:Went to see "The Notebook" with Maggie and Jamie. It was good, I cried. Of course, I cry a lot. I think I have issues..HAH OH WELL. Anyways, after that Jamie left and me and Maggie shopped for a while. Then got pedicures, which was nice. :) Then she slept at my house. Tuesday: We woke up around 1 and watched E! specials on XTINA and BRITNEY. Cause we are cool like that. Then she left and I moped around the rest of the day...got on the computer some. Wednesday:Well Jordan asked me to go to the pool but no one was home..so I ended up getting there around 4ish? Yeah. Well all the girls had left...so it was just Jordan, Kyle, and Reade. Then Jordan and Kyle left....so I got my mom to pick me up. Lloyd wasnt home. Great, huh? Then I went home and went to JULIAS HOUSE and we had lots of fun talking til TWO IN THE MORNING. Julia: They all expect us to change over summer!
Me: Hm. I like to believe I'm more mature....
Julia: Your not. Me: Show me them graceful ballet moves!
Julia: OKay, *gets off bed falls on her face*
Me: *laughs forever* Oooh...graceful Today:I woke up at like one and Julia was GONE. But then she was downstairs...so it was okay. We watched TV (WANNA COME IN ROCKS MY WORLD) then we went to get our NAILS DONE BECAUSE THATS FUN AND COOL. Then I went home and went to open house. I'm in Mrs. Courliss's homeroom. WOo. There is a survey I got from Gena, but I'll save that for later. PS Alex Hart just informed me that its "Bring a friend" at youth this Sunday. If you wanna come just IM ME. Then you will be cool. Well, the past couple of days have been very emotional yet eventless.
On Monday I went to the pool for a while...but thats about it.
Tuesday I woke up pretty early and met Jessica at the mall. We walked around for a while, then we went into Bath & Body Works to get Jamie a present. Seeing as it was Jamies birthday on Sunday, the 4th. After that, I went to the doctors. That was....loads of erm. Fun. Yeah.
Then I went to Lizzie's memorial service. It was heartbreaking, but very amazing...I cant find any words. I just am really bad about talking about it right now. I wish we had had a drought this summer.
I talked to Helen a lot today. Poor, confused little girl.
I also talked to Samantha. Shes having boy problems. Her boy doesnt "trust" her. Which is a load of CRAP if I do say so myself. :)
I also want to say again that Alli Maloney has truely been an inspiration through all of this. You are such a beautiful person. :)
Well, I'm heading off to bed. It's late.

I guess I've just been extremely "out of it" since that Friday afternoon. I'm still in shock.

RIP Lizzie Knowles
Well on Friday night, I went over to Samantha's house. I met her at Movie Makers camp last year, then this year we got each others phone number and stuff, so we decided to hang out. I went to her house for a few minutes. About every 2 min. or so her younger brothers would bust into the room saying something random like "down with the OPP"...at least I think thats what they said. Her brothers, Marc and Jake were hilarious though. I was Marc's counselor at camp, he was a cool kid. Anyways, Jake had his friend there and he came with us to see Spider Man 2. It was a pretty good movie, but there were many times when I jumped in my seat. Samantha laughed at me a lot.
Then Samantha came to mi casa and we hung out for a while. We talked a lot, shes really a cool person. She is always smiling, I heart her. :) We recorded a new voicemail for her cell phone. It's me singing, "Toxic" wooot. Then we went to the living room to see what was on TV. My sister was watching something on paperview and decided to ask us to watch it with her. Oh, geez. I've never been more disturbed in my live. Ew, MALE NAKEDNESS!!!! Wayyyy too much male nakedness. Correction: Way too much old fat male nakedness.
Afterwards, me and Samantha decided to log on to FunnyJunk.com to see somthin about Micheal Jackson. It wasnt there so we just looked around and took an um.. *coughs* interesting survey. Haha. We talked for a while that night, then we both fell asleep.
We woke up around 12 and my room was BURNING up. I found out my pillow had been covering up the air vent all night. Way to go me. Anyways, we had coke and crossionts for breakfast. I realized later that that is probably considered starving my guests....oops. After that nice breakfast...her mom picked us up to go to the pool. That was cool, I met a bunch of Samantha's friends from Culbreth. They were supah fly. (Mallory, Aldin, ANNNNNNNNND that guy that I forget the name of. Shoot.) For a while Aldin was trying to ask Jake somthing about her little brother in his grade. I heard way too much of the 6th grade (or would it now be considered 7th grade?) gossip. I was thourouly disturbed. Well, sort of. I then got dropped off at home.
I had found out that Lizzie past away today...I just couldnt believe it. I really thought she was going to get better. But I guess Heaven is much better than here anyways. Alli you are so strong. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Well, Im thinking I'm going to the mall today with Jessica and maybe others too...?
I guess I will see.
